This marked my first client from South Korea. The startup had already achieved success with its initial product on local crowdfunding platforms. Following the release of the first model, the project team opted to utilize the renowned crowdfunding platform Indiegogo for the new model's launch.
PROJECT BRIEFING
The client had only an idea, a product sample, and, of course, a great desire to impress the world with his innovation. Given my experience in crowdfunding video production, I was ready for this since this happens with most crowdfunding startups.
To start video production, I needed to think of content for the Indiegogo page and ways to promote it on social media.
To do this, we had an in-depth conversation with the client to determine the critical nuances. I realized that they understood how to succeed on a local crowdfunding platform. But the client needed to learn about U.S. platforms. Since I already had experience creating crowdfunding videos, I immediately knew which direction to take.
PROJECT NUANCES
The main nuance we had to consider during this crowdfunding video production was how we could show the product, its work, and its features. But the device does not visually show its action in any way. Therefore, it was decided to use the AIDA model. The video began with a demonstration of all the irritants, after which we aroused interest in the device and discussed its advantages to stimulate the desire to purchase. In the end, our crowdfunding video ended with a call to action.

Another crucial aspect was the limited budget for crowdfunding video production and the necessity to film in various locations. However, I found a practical solution. During the same timeframe, I had another project planned that involved shooting in ideal locations for the Amofit S video. I realized this presented an excellent opportunity to capture all the required footage by combining both projects. This eliminated the need to rehire actors or scout new locations. The outcome was an extensive range of shots, benefiting both clients who had commissioned crowdfunding video production, ensuring a cost-effective approach.

THE VIDEO PRODUCTION PROCESS
The client sent me a test sample of the device. After reviewing it, I started looking for references for future videos and photos. When providing services for the production of crowdfunding videos and post-production, I often come across startups. Therefore, I already understand for sure that in the process of video production, it is necessary to take into account not only the visible part. We need to understand the tone of the company’s future brand, colors, and mood. Only in this case, the crowdfunding video will be able to enhance it and impress potential investors.
We devoted enough time not only to filming but also to post production services. So cool transitions between scenes appeared, and a 3D model of the device was made. To match the tone of the voice, we have added relevant visual and SFX.

Of course, for a successful campaign, you need to devote time to crowdfunding video production. But that’s not all. In order for the campaign to be successful and to be able to promote the product on the Internet, high-quality photographs are needed. A good photo can evoke the right emotions and push you to buy.
In my experience, shooting videos and photos simultaneously is a successful formula for creating the right content. The result is a single concept of photo and video content. And we can save the client’s budget.

All the mentioned stages of crowdfunding video production culminated in a highly successful Indiegogo campaign that garnered over $500,000, thanks to effective promotion and high-quality content.
My team and I were delighted to contribute to this project involving a wearable device aimed at enhancing sleep, reducing stress, and alleviating anxiety. We handled the entire crowdfunding video production process, along with post-production services, product photo production, and the design of the crowdfunding campaign itself.
